AGENDA
The Bailey County Commissioner’s Court will meet in
REGULAR SESSION in the Bailey County Courthouse, Tuesday, October 13, 2009.
The meeting will begin at 10:00 A.M., and will continue until all business is concluded, with the
following items on the agenda:
1. Approve the minutes from the previous meetings.
2. Review, approve and order payment of County
bills.
3. Review and approve County Treasurer’s Report for August
2009.
4. Submit schedule of In-County travel forms for
approval.
5. Review Departmental Reports.
6. Consider approval of soil conservation worksheets, in
accordance with §201.151 of the Agriculture Code.
7. County Treasurer to certify to the Court any grant
funds received in the prior Month and adopt Budget for the spending of the grant funds.
8. Receipt of Daily Equipment Inspection from the Precincts
for the month of September.
9. Consider order to compensate officials on salary basis rather
than fee basis. (154.022 Lcl Gvt Cd-Certified copy of Commissioner’s Court order to be sent to the
comptroller of public accounts by the County Clerk.)
10. Consider directing by order that all money that would otherwise be
deposited in a salary fund, be deposited in the general fund. (154.007 Local Government Code.)
11. Consider order authorizing County Judge to approve
payment of monthly utility bills, rent, postal requests, payment of state reports, and any payroll
related items other than regular monthly salary.
12. Sheriff to present for Court’s approval, audit (criminal
asset) felony forfeitures for October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009.
13. Consider authorizing County Judge to sign Notification of
Intent to Accept Funds for Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG).
14. Consider waiving as to salary only, probationary period of Jesse
Parks, George Rodriquez, Kimberly Rodriquez, Jacie Anstead, Philip Tommy Cruz, Josh Motsenbocker,
Mary Ann Anzuldua, effective October 11, 2009.
15. Consider authorizing County Judge to sign resolution
authorizing signatures for all documentation pertaining to the Texas Community Development Block
Grant program (TXCDBG) contract number 729029.
16. Consider authorizing County Judge to sign Local Opportunity Plan-
A1002.
17. Consider authorizing County Judge to sign Excessive Force
Resolution-A1003.
18. Consider adopting Section 504 Grievance Procedure- A1004.
