JUROR INFORMATION
You may be called for jury duty in any of three courts, i.e. District Court, County Court, or Justice of the Peace Court. Sometimes cases set for trial are settled, dismissed, or continued to a later date.  If you are summoned for jury duty, please check here often for up-to-date information regarding your jury service.  If you have specific questions about your jury obligations, call the appropriate number below:

District Court:  Bailey County District Clerk's Office at (806) 272-3165
County Court:  Bailey County Judge's Office at (806) 272-3077
Justice Court:  Justice of the Peace at (806) 272-4300

Respond to Jury Summons
 
Please read carefully all information on the front and back of the jury summons.  Bring entire summons with you to court.  Please print legibly.  You are to appear promptly as instructed by the summons.  If you have a special need or disability you are encouraged to notify the court immediately concerning request for reasonable accommodations. 

  • District Court: Jurors called for duty on Wednesday, February 21, 2024  do not need to report.

    You are required to call the appropriate number listed above after 5:00 p.m. on the day prior to your scheduled appearance for case status and recorded instructions.
